The Aputure Light Storm LS C300 d II is a powerful LED lamp and every independent filmmaker's dream. It is the second, improved version, of the revolutionary Aputure C300 d lamp. The lamp emits high quality light with tremendous power. It is much more powerful, robust, handy and intelligent than its predecessor. Aputure has done everything to meet the growing demands of its loyal users. Perfect light quality The excellent colour reproduction of the light emitted is demonstrated by the high CRI and TLCI values. They define the degree of similarity of light to the spectrum of natural sunlight and range from 0 to 100. The higher the value, the better the colours of the illuminated objects are reproduced - they look more natural. Values achieved by the Aputure Light Storm LS C300 d II of over 96 guarantee colour fidelity and correctly rendered depth of tone. Standard colour temperature The lamp generates light with a colour temperature of 5500 K. This is close to daylight in slightly overcast conditions and has been adopted as the standard for photographic and film lighting. The standardised colour allows a simple combination of multiple continuous and flash light sources. Intelligent cooling system The Aputure LS C300 d II is equipped with an active, intelligent and very quiet cooling system. The system effectively protects the flash from overheating and ensures long use. Bowens system mount The standard Bowens system mount allows the character of the light to be adapted by using the numerous modifiers available on the market, both from the Aputure brand and other manufacturers. Aputure has designed a completely new canopy. By narrowing the light beam from 60° to 55° and changing the reflector coating, it has managed to increase the power of the lamp by more than three times. Practical and convenient solutions The control panel and power supply have been integrated, while the antenna is concealed in the housing. The new fork mount allows the lamp to be rotated 360° for complete freedom of operation. The included mounting bracket allows the lamp controller to be attached to a tripod in an instant and secure manner. The military-grade strap makes it easy to carry the control panel from place to place. The relatively low weight and compact design of the entire kit are also not insignificant, which users will appreciate when working outdoors. Two ways to power The flash can be powered by both mains and V-mount batteries. This makes the LS C300 d II equally suitable for use in the studio and outdoors. New compared to the earlier model is the possibility to use one or two batteries. Convenient controls The controller has been completely redesigned. The LS C300 d II can be controlled using the control panel on it, remotely using the included remote control or a smartphone with the Sidus Link app. All of these methods offer extraordinary freedom and allow you to control the parameters of the lamp, placed even in a hard-to-reach location. Bluetooth control Aputure opens up a world of infinite possibilities for filmmakers. Thanks to the Sidus Link app, it is possible to control one or a whole group of lamps from a smartphone. Using the app, we have access to all the functions of the controller, we can also modify predefined settings and save our own effects. Versatile carrying case Convenient transport and safe storage of the flash unit is ensured by the practical travel case. It can accommodate the flash and all additional accessories. The case is covered with easy-to-clean, abrasion-resistant material. The sturdy construction holds up to 100 kg. It can be used as a comfortable seat during a break on set.
