The Laowa Magic Shift Converter is an innovative converter that allows you to turn an ordinary wide-angle lens into a shift lens. The +/- 10mm perspective control function allows straight lines - valued in architectural photography - to be achieved.The converter is designed to work with the Laowa 12mm f/2.8 lens and is also compatible with other wide-angle lenses. The top-quality lenses used in the unit ensure perfectly sharp images with little loss of brightness (1 EV). With 1.4x image magnification, the adapter effectively reduces lens vignetting and enables perspective correction.For easier mounting on a tripod, the adapter is equipped with a mounting shoe with 1/4" thread. Note: the adapter does NOT transfer information from the lens to the camera. Focus and aperture adjustment must be done manually using the lens rings.
