The Newell BG-E21 is a robust, fully functional grip/battery pack for the Canon EOS 6D II. The build quality stands at the highest level. Metal construction is combined with high quality plastics. The Newell Grip is a product that will last for years to come. The Grip has all the functionality of the original Canon BG-E21 grip. It features a two-position shutter button, an on/off switch, a setting wheel, and a set of function buttons. Pressing the shutter release button lightly allows you to focus, pressing it all the way down triggers the shutter - just like on the camera itself. The camera can be powered by a choice of one or two LP-E6/LP-E6N type batteries. When using two batteries, cells from different manufacturers and with different capacities can be combined. The camera will then draw current first from one battery and then from the other. The shape and design of the unit has been chosen to provide the greatest possible comfort when shooting both horizontally and vertically. The handle is covered with a durable and pleasant-to-touch rubber material, which provides a comfortable and very secure grip. On its underside there is also a thread for attaching the camera to a tripod and a belt attachment. The Grip allows a better grip on the camera, improves comfort when shooting vertically and allows you to increase the number of shots possible by using a set of batteries.
