The Commlite CoMix CM-ENF-E1 PRO is a high-performance bayonet adapter that allows a wide range of lenses from the Nikon F* system to be mounted on Sony E* mount bodies. The CoMix CM-ENF-E1 PRO features an advanced electronic circuit that allows two-way communication between the camera and lens. The adapter is mounted on the camera body bayonet in the same way that lenses are mounted. The lens is then clipped into the adapter bayonet. The whole process is quick and intuitive. The reinforced construction of the PRO version allows even heavier lenses to be mounted safely. CoMix CM-ENF-E1 PRO has an electronic circuit and contacts that allow the camera to communicate with the lens. This allows the AF motor (focusing), information transfer and aperture control (exposure setting), and optional image stabilisation to operate in the lens. Depending on the mode selected, the camera can select focus and aperture automatically. Parameters in manual modes can be selected from the buttons or the camera menu. The device is suitable for both photography and filming. The adaptor is made extremely carefully from robust metal. The compact design and lack of protruding parts allows wide-bodied lenses to be mounted. The satin finish of the interior of the CoMix CM-ENF-E1 PRO minimises the risk of flare and blips, and the 1/4" female tripod mount allows the adapter to be mounted on a tripod.
