The Commlite CoMix CM-AEF-MFT is a bayonet adapter that allows Canon EF system lenses to be mounted on bodies equipped with a Micro 4/3 system mount. CoMix has an electronic circuit that allows the camera to communicate with the lens. The adapter is mounted on the camera body bayonet in the same way as a lens mount. The lens is then clipped into the adapter bayonet. The whole process is quick and intuitive. The CoMix CM-AEF-MFT has an electronic circuit and contacts that allow the camera to communicate with the lens. This allows the AF motor (focusing), information transfer and aperture control (exposure setting), optional image stabilisation, to operate in the lens. Depending on the mode selected, the camera can select focus and aperture automatically. Parameters in manual modes can be selected from the buttons or the camera menu. The device is suitable for both photography and filming. The adapter is made with the utmost care from robust metal. It has a 1/4" female tripod mount, making it possible to mount it on a tripod.
