Commlite Canon EF - Canon EF-M bayonet adapter with lens electronics transfer. Compatible with Canon EOS EF/EF-S system lenses and Canon EF-M (EOS M) bodies.The adapter allows the use of Canon EF and EF-S system lenses with Canon EF-M bayonet cameras. The adapter is mounted on the camera body bayonet in a similar way to how lenses are mounted. The lens is then mounted to the adapter bayonet.The adapter has an electronic circuit and contacts that allow the camera to communicate with the lens. This allows the AF motor, information transfer and aperture control, optionally image stabilisation, to operate in the lens.Focus and aperture can be selected automatically by the camera. Parameters in manual modes can be changed from buttons on the body. When a Canon system lens is attached with this adapter, the camera recognises the lens with full support for autofocus, iris control and stabilisation.The device will prove useful for both shooting and filming.The adapter has a tripod mount (1/4"), making it possible to mount a camera and heavy lens on a tripod.
